You guy's want to kick this site back up again like the old days or you want me to just pull the plug on the server? It makes no difference to me but I do remember when it was fun to get out with friends and have fun things to do around this state. It does cost for the server but like I said if its going to be fun then it's worth it,if not no big deal here.A lot of good stuff going on lately and some of you have been missing out on some fun shit!! Let me know how you feel and we can go from there!!

Our Two Cents

I used to enjoy being proactive on here, but reached burnout (and also met my boyfriend off-site).

I'm still always up for meeting new girls to hang out with though! I like to go out and it's always a fun time! Feel free to get in touch on here if that sounds like your cup of tea too! Maybe I'll summon the energy to organize a girls' night on here sometime, but in the meantime can always do less official events (spontaneous get together for Friday night city cocktails after work, for e.g.)

All the best everyone for 2010!

This site was great in its heyday. I went sea kayaking, rock climbing, lazer tag, snow tubing, zorbing, go-cart racing, skiing, hiking, wine tasting. And yes, met some great drinking buddies, too (life is all about balance!)

Nowadays it seems the site has died a death, which is a real shame. Ironic that the same people that said the Princess was too controlling are now nowhere to be seen even though she is no longer around.

I think really the site needs some people willing to step up and be 'leaders' - get people to sign up, organize affordable local events and encouraged people to attend. It takes dedication - one event might flop, but the next might be a real success!

Don't pull the plug! We need to get some good activities going. I met a really good friend on this site and got to try some things I've never tried before like rock climbing and the polar plunge and other cool stuff.

Come on everyone lets give it another shot!!!

It would be sad to see this site go away. If it helps I'll offer up some constructive criticism. One of the things that brought me to this site was the chance to meet new people and do different things. And in the beginning that's what I did. Unfortunetly it seemed to me that it became a site to find drinking buddies. Thats well and good but I have those and thats not different. What happened to hikes and volleyball. Where are the events posted. For awhile all I read was the wednsday night chicken wing night and a few house parties. I surely hope RI offers more than pub crawls.

Good luck and I hope this site survives.

Nope no princess here. The princess has moved on to other things and left me to "do as i please". So with that being said i figured i would salvage a good idea. I met a lot of Great new friends here and have been to a bunch of cool events.Just checking to see if there is any interest of posting events at all or not. You can call me the king if it makes you feel better though. :)

Although I manage to still check-in from time to time, by all appearances the ‘Great Chicken Wing Battle’ took an unforeseen toll on the site as a whole.
Perhaps the easy way out would be to blame it all on G.W.Bush.
In any case, if your appeal for a dialogue doesn’t produce any results, your choice is abundantly clear.
With the ability to ‘pull the plug’, does that mean you are indeed “the Princess”?
