First trip back to New Orleans post Katrina, the French Quarter thrives of course but the state of some surrounding wards is absolutely staggering still.
If I hadn’t spent NYE at my favorite NOLA spot Lafitte’s Blacksmith Bar I would have definitely been up for the Newport crawl.
Look forward to checking out some C2U gatherings in 2009.
